KATIE Price has been accused of “scouring freebies”, after she had a company throw a Mermaid Party in her lounge.
Katie, a 45-year-old former glamour model, revealed on Instagram that she had received all of the items for her daughter Bunny’s 9th birthday celebration.
Catherine Tyldesley, 39, hit headlines last week for a similar thing – something she insists she knew nothing about.
Katie shared an image of the Mucky Mansion in which a variety of bunk bed tents with mermaids were set up, along with colorful balloons and sparkling cushions.
The tents were adorned with little pamper tables, which included fluffy eye masks and beakers in shell shapes.
Before revealing the cake with mermaid-fish-tails, edible shells and starfish on top of it, a neon sign beginning with B was displayed.

Katie then appeared in white leggings and a jumper, rallying the party and saying “Come On! We only have half an hour left!”
On top of the table, pampas plant and beach style fishnets were placed.
The space was filled with a variety of snacks, including croissants, sausage rolls and iced jewels.
Bunny arrived with her friends when the impressive 60-minute time frame was completed.
Katie then asked her: “Does it make you happy?” She ran through the room, yelling: “Oh My God.”
She replied quickly: “Yes,” then selected a spa station, adding “My One, My One.”
Katie posted the scenes to her own TikTok and Instagram pages with the caption: “Bunny’s reaction at the end.
“We transformed my living room into a mermaid themed party in just ONE HOUR for Bunny’s 9th Birthday today.”
The TV personality wrote in her caption: “Bunny’s reaction at the end, we transformed my living room into a mermaid themed party in just ONE HOUR for Bunny’s 9th Birthday today.”
She then went on thanking a number of companies, adding “#gifted”.
But the posts did not impress all of them.
Unknown to the fan, she said: “It was not Katie who deserved credit.” She has done nothing but scrounge for a little freebie. “She sits down and enjoys the attention.”
One person said, “Wow! All that Grifting work is really hard. Eh Katie.”
It comes after a small business shared an email exchange between it and a firm representing former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley.

The woman asked to be exposed in exchange for 100 cupcakes, a smaller 40th-birthday cake and an extra small birthday cake.
She has now insisted, however, that she was “not aware” of the fact that emails were sent.
