Ye’s decision to purchase the “free speech”-driven social media platform comes just days after Twitter and Instagram locked his personal accounts following a number of antisemitic posts and a damning interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

Ye and Parler intend to sign a definitive purchase contract. This agreement will close in Q4 2022, just before the end. Parlement will provide technical support and continue to use its private cloud services via its data center and private cloud infrastructure.

“This deal will change the world, and change the way the world thinks about free speech,”George Farmer, Parlement Technologies CEO, said in a release. “Ye is making a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again. Additionally under Parlement Technologies’ umbrella are its Parler-related leading technology systems, including Web3 and secure cloud services, known as DeepRedSky and Dynascale. Per Monday’s release, the company bills itself as “a guiding force in the fight against Big Tech, Big Government, censorship, and cancel culture.”

In Interview Monday morning with Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,”Farmer explained further why Parlement Technologies sold its Parler asset and decided to sell it to Ye.

“Free speech is something that we all must strive towards,”Farmer stated. “[Ye is] very excited about this. The deal came together in short order. And we are very excited about the potential that he can bring to the platform in terms of the growth profile of the marketing operation of this platform, which he’s going to bring to it.”
