They’ve covered everything from joking about Roberts’ iconic laugh to Clooney’s nickname in his co-star’s phone contacts. After shooting was completed, the pair would spend some time together on the island. The Hollywood A-listers weren’t the only ones partaking in the excitement as Clooney’s wife Amal got in on the fun times. The Paradise PassStars shared their stories about the group’s time during filming.
George Clooney transformed a movie shoot into a getaway for his family, including his children and wife. While his clan was on the shoot, the two-time Oscar winner didn’t leave out his frequent co-star from the festivities. This was a fun shoot. Amal and I got to go there with the kids and because of the schedule and the sun going down when it did, we were able to finish and then pick up the kids in a golf cart and then pick up Julia — who would not leave our house.
Of course, George Clooney had to get in a cheeky jab at Roberts’ expense. But that’s all part of the movie stars’ well-earned witty rapport. He felt that a Clooney family vacation on a beautiful island would be a more memorable experience than any other film shoots. That’s a statement that everyone would agree with. Julia Roberts also joins the mix, which sounds like a great time.
Roberts didn’t let her co-star’s joke just fall flat. She also mentioned that she had been on the golf cart ready for fun after a long shoot day.

George Clooney couldn’t let go of Roberts’ remark as he joked his kids were tired of seeing the Oscar winner regularly. His sarcastic reply was followed by his laughter. The Tender BarDirector recalled the everyday fun he and Roberts had shooting the rom-com.
No, it was really fun… Julia was in the house down below us and in the mornings, I’d be like, ‘Cacaw! [Makes bird noise].’ And she would come out and make some weird bird noise and we’d go and get coffee.
It sounds like a lot of fun to hang out with Roberts and Clooney. It must’ve been a sight to see the two Oscar winners enjoying morning coffee at a local coffee shop with his human rights lawyer wife as well. Following Julia Roberts’s response to Roberts kissing 80x in one scene, Amal Clooney was able to go on a coffee run and showed that there were no hard feelings. Roberts, George Clooney and Amal Clooney are not close friends. In fact, the Best Actress winner had to shout at her costar in another scene.
Although Julia Roberts and George Clooney have given entertaining interviews, Paradise PassAlthough it was a box office success, the film received mixed reviews.
