Josh Hawley bought the house after he said that men couldn’t get pregnant

Senator Josh Hawley (R, MO) has been taken over by the Senate after he said that women can’t become pregnant when asked about abortion care.

Hawley posted a clip of the discussion he had with Hawley on his official Twitter, Tuesday 12 July Khiara M. Bridges, A law professor at UC Berkeley School of Law relates her feelings about “people with a capacity for pregnancy.”

“You’ve used a phrase … I want to make sure I understand what you mean by it. You’ve referred to people with a capacity for pregnancy. Would that be women? Hawley asked.

Bridges responded: “Many cis females have the potential to become pregnant. Many cis women are not capable of having a pregnancy. Trans men are also capable of having a baby.”

She added: “It is possible to acknowledge that this affects women, but also recognize that it affects other groups. Senator Hawley, these are not mutually exclusive.”

“Your view is that this is all about what?” Hawley asked.

This prompted Bridges to note that Hawley’s questions were “Transphobic” and can perpetuate violence against trans people because the questioning doesn’t recognise them.

“Wow! You’re saying you want to open people up to violence by asking women if they can have pregnancies.” Hawley responded.

Bridges then laid out the important statistics on the matter, such as “One in five transgender people have tried to commit suicide.” which was interrupted by Hawley asking why they can’t “Talk about the subject” due to his line of question.

“Whether trans people exist or not, they are being denied and lied to.” Bridges said, which caused a bit of back and forth between her and Hawley.

“I don’t deny that trans people exist.” Hawley asked as Bridges repeated the phrase, “Are you one of them?”

She continued: “Believe that men can become pregnant?

“No, I don’t think men can get pregnant, “Hawley stated.

“So you are denying that trans people exist,” Bridges said.

Hawley questions Bridges towards the end of this clip and asks her if the conversation was how she intended. “runs her classroom”And if students are allowed to ask her questions without being told she isn’t “opening up people to violence.”

“We have a good time in my class; you should join,” Bridges said.

She also added: “You might learn a lot.”

Many people commented on the post to share their feelings about Hawley’s loss in the Bridges debate.

One wrote: “Why are you publicly posting your L’s now[?]She just looks cool as hell.”

“Haha, He just got dunked on, hard! Prof. Khiara Bridges for the win!!”An additional option was added.

A third wrote simply: “Sir, she literally laughed at you.”
