Jon Stewart makes it clear that he won’t run for President in 2024

His name was added to the list of possible candidates for the presidency in 2024 via social media. Stewart has made it clear he isn’t interested.

Rumors on social media suggested that Tucker Carlson may be a potential candidate. Politico wrote an opinion piece where the writer suggests Stewart as the one to run against Carlson were he to enter the President’s race.

Stewart expressed his disintereste in the political situation by tweeting that he was not interested in it. Stewart also highlighted the fact Republican Senator Pat Toomey has shut down the veterans healthcare bill. This is something he has considered a top priority over the years.

“But while I have your attention, could all of you (including news orgs) please ask Pat Toomey why he is single-handedly stalling a veterans health care bill that passed (with) huge bipartisan support over a technicality?”He wrote. “Asking for 3.5 million friends.”
