It’s been almost 20 years since their first engagement (breaking Bennifer fans’ hearts), Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot last weekend. JLo and Affleck were married in Vegas, along with other happy couples, opting for a quick and quiet ceremony. After the long-awaited event, the minister shared his thoughts about the “emotional” wedding. The officiator also discussed whether or not he thinks the A-listers will survive now that they have become husband and wife.
19 years ago, Jennifer Lopez was all in with Ben Affleck. JLo even vowed to take on the Affleck moniker. It appears to have been a case. “the right person at the wrong time”Back when they tried it for the first time, because their Vegas minister thinks they are the real deal. In an interview with People, the man who presided over Lopez and Affleck’s marriage ceremony — A Little White Wedding Chapel minister Ryan Wolfe — could only gush about the famous pair’s nuptials, and it sounds like one of his most memorable matrimonial experiences: Here is what he said, in his own words:
It is evident that they loved each other. They truly love and care about each other. I’ve done probably 10,000 weddings now, and by this point in my life I get a feel of couples — I can really tell it was real.
As a minister in Vegas, I imagine it to be one of the most interesting and exciting jobs in the world. You get to see a variety of loving couples all day long, and I’m sure there are some pretty crazy stories that each have when it comes to their journeys to the altar. Ryan Wolfe is a great expert on couples in love, having been married so many times. JLo and Ben Affleck needed everything to go right this time, and it’s not hard to imagine that neither of them would want to re-enter their relationships in a hasty fashion.
