Jennifer Siebel Newsom is the wife of California Governor. Gavin Newsom, Testifies Harvey Weinstein Raped Her

Exercisive testimony by the wife and governor of California, Gavin Newsom as she confronts Harvey Weinstein, her accused rapper.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom is a California First Lady and a filmmaker. She testified that she met Weinstein in his suite at Peninsula Hotel to discuss a 2005 film project.

She cried and testified that Weinstein ordered his assistant to leave the hotel suite. She claims that Weinstein was still wearing a robe when he returned to the hotel suite. She says he then carried her or pushed her to the bed and raped it.

“I’m trembling. I’m like a rock, I’m frigid. This is my worst nightmare. I’m just this blow-up doll!”She testified. “I was so violated, and I don’t know how that happened. I didn’t see the clues and I didn’t know how to escape.”

Weinstein’s defense lawyer, however, retorted intensely, asking why Weinstein corresponded after the alleged sexual assault and asking about an email Weinstein sent two years later, inquiring about Weinstein’s advice as Gavin Newsom was San Francisco’s mayor.

Siebel Newsom began dating Gavin Newsom in 2006. They were married in 2008, and have now had four children.

She was portrayed by the defense as a witness who had changed her story several times. She wept when the defense began to go into detail about what she had seen, and called the questioning so cruel.

Weinstein’s attorney has tried to rip into Siebel Newsom’s credibility, saying sex with Weinstein was consensual.

“She’s made herself a prominent victim in the #MeToo movement … otherwise she’d be just another bimbo who slept with Harvey Weinstein to get ahead in Hollywood,”Mark Werksman was the attorney.

The California trial comes after Weinstein, who was found guilty in 2020 of first-degree criminal and third-degree rape in New York, was reported by The New York Times in 2017. In 2017, The New Yorker and The New Yorker both covered Weinstein’s alleged history with sexual abuse and harassment. In New York, Weinstein was sentenced for 23 years. He maintained his innocence. New York’s highest court in August agreed to hear his appeal in the case.
