Ben Affleck was married to Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas, 20 years after their first engagement. The intimate ceremony took place in the Little White Wedding chapel at midnight, right in front their five children.
Lopez confirmed the news via her newsletter “On the JLo”With multiple photos of their special day. A Clark County marriage license was issued in Nevada, listing Lopez as Jennifer Affleck.
“We did it,”She was excited to share her enthusiasm. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
She continued, “We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives. They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last.”
The bride wore a “dress from an old movie”The groom gets a jacket out of his own closet.
Lopez and Affleck first date from 2002 to 2004, when they collaborated in the production of the film. GigliThey would then get married in November 2022. The wedding was originally scheduled for September 14, 2003. However, it was delayed due to media attention. Their split was four months later.
The couple rekindled their love last April and got engaged one year later.
Lopez is the mother to Emme and Max, twins from Marc Anthony’s marriage. Affleck’s three children are Violet, Seraphina, Samuel and Jennifer Garner.
Last month, the couple bought a Bel Air estate worth $55 million. This is enough to provide for their blended family.
