Jamie Lee Curtis, one of the stars who made their breakthrough in horror films, returns to Halloween

The trailer for Halloween Ends was released this week, with the movie set to hit theatres on October 14 – with Jamie Lee Curtis back for one more nightmare fight for her life.

The last installment of the series will let viewers see the final confrontation between Laurie Strode, (Curtis), and Michael Myers.

Halloween Ends is the follow-up to Halloween Kills, which was released last October.

Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Halloween again

Curtis will play Laurie again, 40 years after her first appearance as the protagonist.

Andi Matichak stars alongside Omar Dorsey and Nick Castle. James Jude Courtney is also in the film. Curtis shared with Vogue her memories of carrying Richards on the back during the final day of filming in 1978.

“She was a little girl on that set and suddenly there we were, 40 years later as two grown women with families of our own,”She .

A scream queen who loathes horror

Despite her prolific roles in horror movies, Curtis doesn’t actually like the genre due to the fact that she scares easily, and doesn’t like being frightened.

“It’s just ironic that I ended up making my living by being scared,”She told VogueLast year.

Curtis explained that however Entertainment WeeklyThis is why she’s so good at horror movies.

“It’s a natural response for me. I’ve had this awakening. Why did I end up making my mark in a genre that I loathe? I would be one of those people who would say, you couldn’t pay me to go to a horror movie. Because I hate it. [But] actually, youcanpay me to be scared and you can pay me well!”She said.
