IVANA Trump “looked terrific” “had no airs about her”Her neighbor of over three decades said that she knew her before she experienced cardiac arrest.
Ivana’s longtime neighbor told Central Recorder the 73-year-old’s death inside her Manhattan home was “a shock” after having seen the Trump matriarch just a few weeks ago.

Ivana, who was suffering from cardiac arrest, was found at the bottom of her staircase at home on Thursday at 12.40pm.
Judy Abrams, who has lived next to Ivana’s house for 35 years, told Central Recorder that she spoke from her Upper East Side apartment.
Abrams, a Broadway producer, remembered how Ivana was treated. “looked terrific”She last saw her neighbor about five to six weeks ago.
She also recalls to Central Recorder how she did it. “well put together”The Trump matriarch looked.
“There were no airs about her,” Abrams said.
“She was always very friendly.”
Abrams claimed that she was “moved about how friendly and warm she was.”
“When I heard that she died, that was a shock,” Abrams said.
“But when I heard that she died of a heart issue, I don’t know how she didn’t do that long ago given everything she’s reading and hearing on the news,” Abrams continued.
Abrams did not know Ivana’s children but she had seen them all.
“If I were a mother and saw whatmy kidsmight be facing, and even my ex-husband, I would’ve had a heart attack long ago.”
“As a mother, I don’t know what I’d do.”
She called her neighbor’s death “very sad.”
A LASTING MEMORY
Abrams stated that her interactions over the years with Ivana were “very casual,”She recalled one incident that struck a chord.
Abrams said that when Ivana Perfume came out in the 1990s, the mogul left some at her neighbor’s doorstep with a note.
Abrams recalls it being around Christmastime. Abrams also said that her niece visited the area and also enjoyed the scent.
Abrams wrote Ivana a thank you note, with the part about how much her niece loved this scent.
Abrams was then left with another package and a note by Ivana.
“Here’s for your niece – you don’t have to share,”Abrams recalls the note.
‘AN EXCELLENT MALE’
Abrams and other neighbors in the vicinity said that Ivana often ordered lunch at Altesi, an Italian restaurant just steps from her Upper East Side residence.
Central Recorder was told by neighbors that Ivana often enjoyed tea with Tiger, her teacup dog.
The restaurant’s owner, Paola Alavian, told The Central Recorder through tears: “Her health seemed normal, she looked maybe a little bit tired, but she otherwise seemed okay.”
Alavian stated that he could not remember what Ivana ordered, but that he described her meal as a “simple” meal. “very, very small amount of food.”
“I’m a little bit in shock right now,”He continued, “voice cracking.”
“I don’t know what has happened. There was a lot going on. [outside of her apartment].
“She was an exceptional human being; she was a truly, really great person.
“It’s all very emotional for me at the moment,” Alavian continued.
“She was a mother to everybody here.”
THE FORMER PRESIDENT REACTS
Thursday afternoon’s news about Ivana’s passing spread quickly. Trump, the former president, issued a statement through his Truth Social platform.
“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,”Trump wrote.
“She was a beautiful, amazing, and remarkable woman who lived a rich and inspiring life.
“Her three children, Donald Jr. (Ivanka), Eric, were her joy and pride. We were all proud of her and she was proud of them.
“Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
Ivana’s daughter, Ivanka made a statement Thursday evening announcing that she is “heartbroken by the passing of my mother.”
“Mom was brilliant, charming and passionate. She was also wickedly funny.
“She was a model of strength, determination and tenacity in all she did.
“She lived life to its fullest, never letting go of the chance to dance and laugh.
“I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”
