Adonis is a result of their performances. “Donnie”Bianca Taylor and Creed have been one of cinema’s most captivating couples. You thought you’d have waited until the film series’ third installment in order to see their chemistry on screen, but they found another way to unite. Although it may seem strange to see them in a project not related to boxing, I’m all for it!
Michael B. Jordan is not new to commercials. He’s appeared in some of the most hilarious Super Bowl LV commercials. This included Amazon’s Alexa. He has recently uploaded another commercial. Prime Video and the National Cybersecurity Alliance collaborated on a PSA campaign called “Protect & Connect,”It is designed to help consumers understand how to protect themselves online. The 30-second commercial shows the stars trying to prevent a gamer falling for phishing scams, but they are unsuccessful as cybercriminals gain entry to the house. Two Creed stars then battle a host of these evil-doers by throwing punches and keyboards at them until they disappear thanks to “multi-factor authentication.”
Overall, the commercial is a fun bit and a great way for the two co-stars to team up once more. It’s honestly pretty funny to see them together in a situation that’s a bit less serious. After all, the Creed movies can be quite heavy on an emotional level. If anything, this just makes me want to see more of the two stars.
In doing the commercial, Michael B. Jordan not only got the chance to work with Tessa Thompson again but also with director Paul Hunter, who he previously collaborated with on a Bacardi commercial. Jordan made sure to tell Adweek just how proud he was to be part of this PSA campaign and to reunite with his colleagues:
Being part of this PSA was an opportunity to work with Tessa again, one of my mentors—Paul Hunter—and to support the Amazon family to get this message out that cyber security and your privacy is really important. Nobody wants their information stolen. As much as you can protect your information, and your family and friends, you should do that.
Thor: Love and Thunder‘s Tessa Thompson also appreciates her relationship with her colleague. Thompson was happy to see Jordan be named Creed 3‘s director. Though one note that Thompson had for him was to “Reduce the sexiness. He was probably having a hard time adjusting to his Sexiest Man Alive title.
The Fruitvale StationStar really worked hard and showed that he is a good listener. Jordan assisted her in the development of Bianca, her character. While the dynamics between Bianca & Donnie were unchanged, he made sure that they had a good time. Dear White PeopleThe film gave the actress more to do and allowed her to be spontaneous. Jordan has praised Thompson’s talents and what she’s brought to the table to make their characters authentic. This is a pair of celebs that have great respect for one another. I cannot wait to see more of them, no matter what happens outside or inside the arena. Creed franchise.
