After a limited theatrical release earlier in 2022, Last Seen Alive has exploded onto Netflix in the US and has rocketed its way to first place on the streamer’s Top 10 list.
The thrilling thriller stars Jaimie Alex and Gerard Butler as Will, and Lisa, a married pair who find themselves in tragedy when Lisa is abducted.

After a theatrical release in early 2022, Last Seen Alive was released on Netflix on October 1, 2022.
The film is about Will and Lisa Spann who are a married couple whose love is at the edge of falling apart. Lisa wishes for them to spend more time together.
As Last Seen Alive begins with the pair driving to Lisa’s parents’ house but before they arrive, Will has to stop for gas.
But matters take a sinister turn when Lisa exits the gas station’s store and mysteriously disappears without a trace.

Last Seen Alive was filmed near Savannah in Georgia, USA.
Filming took place over the course of just eight days in May 2021 and according to stars Gerard Butler and Jaimie Alexander, most of the film’s scenes were improvised to serve as a unique challenge and experiment for the actors.
The film’s central location is the gas station where Lisa disappears. According to The CinemaholicThese scenes were filmed at Texaco, 1113 North Columbia Avenue in Rincon. It is a city located on the outskirts Savannah.
Bloomingdale, a suburb of Los Angeles, is also a key location for the film crew. They use the building housing the police department for many scenes.
Wilmington Island, on the opposite side of Savannah, was also used as a rural location for the shoot. Local residents will recognize the Talmadge Memorial Bridge in some aerial shots.

Georgia is very popular with film crews because of the financial incentives offered locally by the government.
Savannah has been host to nearly 1000 productions over the years, according to IMDb.
