Disney+ will bring back beloved characters for a long-awaited sequel, Disenchanted in 2022. However, there are many new faces in the film.

Morgan is recast by Disenchanted
In the original Enchanted film, the role of Patrick’s young daughter, Morgan, was played by Rachel Covey.
Rachel, however, has mostly resigned from acting since her appearance in the 2007 film to pursue a career writing and music composition.
The filmmakers had to find a new actor to play Morgan Philip. In May 2021, Gabriella Baldacchino was announced as the winner.
Gabriella’s casting in the film was announced via Twitter In a video, she showed her cute reaction to the news.
Meet Gabriella Baldacchino
Born on December 23, 2001, Gabriella Baldacchino is 20 years of age as of Disenchanted’s release in November 2022.
According to reports, the actress was born in Glen Rock in New Jersey and now resides in Los Angeles.
Her first role in acting was in Tower Heist (2011), which starred Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller.
Gabriella, like most actors in today’s industry, is active on social media. InstagramShe currently has 15,000 followers, but that number will likely increase after Disenchanted is released.
Gabriella Baldacchino’s previous roles
As mentioned, Gabriella’s acting career began in 2011 when she appeared in the film Tower Heist.
Since then, she has gone on to appear in seven more film and TV roles including School Spirits, 2014’s Annie, Ask For Jane, Unschooled as well as the podcast series, Becoming Mother Nature.
Gabriella was seen in 2021 on ABC’s series The Conners. In the same year, Morgan was cast in Disenchanted.
