VMAs 2022 are just a few days away, and fans are looking forward to seeing their favorite artists perform. BLACKPINK has been confirmed, but are BTS and other artists going to perform as well?
K-pop artists had mixed reactions to 2022. A lot has happened in this year. Some new bands, such as NewJeans, were introduced. Others took a step back and focused on their solo careers.
BTS had announced that the members of the band would be taking time off to focus on their solo careers a couple months back. Some are now wondering if they will be able to see them at VMAs.
Are BTS performing at VMAs in 2022?
Unfortunately, BTS will not be performing at this year’s event. BLACKPINK will, however. BLACKPINK is very likely to perform the song. Pink Venom.
But, this confirmation has yet to be made public. BTS will not perform, but they have been nominated in several categories.
They were nominated in the categories of best choreography and visual effects, Kpop, and metaverse performance.

Voting is now open. Fans can start working right away. You can vote for the event by clicking the linkHere.
Once you get to the page, you’ll see that there is a complete list of categories. Next, choose the category you wish to vote and then select the artist.
To be eligible to vote you must create an account. Each user gets 20 votes, which they can use to vote for the artist of their choosing.
BTS Run episode will air soon
BTS will soon be airing a new episode RUN, which will air on August 16. Vlive and Weverse will have the episode available for viewing. The episode will air at 9 pm KST on these platforms. The viewers can also watch the episode via YouTube. This episode will air on 11 PM KST.
