Youngboy and NoCap, the Never Broke Again label signee were at odds after YoungBoy used social media to vent his frustration about a fellow artist he doesn’t trust.
The rapper from Baton Rouge didn’t identify who he was initially speaking about but did say they were on his Never Broke Again label.
NBA Youngboy makes Instagram ‘dig’
In a now-deleted Instagram story on the Never Broke Again label’s official account, Youngboy – real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden – allegedly spoke about a signee to his label that he doesn’t trust anymore.
Some of the content was so explicit that we cannot share it here. However, the story post stated: “I pay attention to all that slick a** s**t you be doing and saying,”Then he questioned his definition of a “religious” person. “real rapper”.
He then said he doesn’t do music with the person implied because he wouldn’t “mess”Added to them: “Stop speaking on me to these people. You my daddy artist.”
He called the artist “a” later. “worker”His, not hers “brother”And said to “pay him”.
Fans were quick to point out they thought it was NoCap – real name Kobe Vidal Crawford – especially after the Alabama rapper reportedly said why he and Youngboy haven’t worked together the day prior.
He stated: “Let me go up on my own first because I don’t need everybody sayin’ I used Top to get big. We will do music later.”
NoCap Responds to NBA Youngboy ‘dig’
Following the NBA post, NoCap made a lengthy, now-deleted, post responding to YB saying he didn’t know of any debt.
“I see it’s my turn dis week huh? I never did u nun bad. I screamed free you before and after every venue/club. I carried dis s**t when u was gone,” TMZ reports. Youngboy was told by him to “let him know” what he owes him.”
The rapper continued to say the pair don’t collaborate because he thinks YB is “scared”NoCap will be “bigger”He is more than him.
“I took the blame for why we don’t do music cus I was tryna keep yo hater card clean, but nah. We really don’t do music cus he probably [scared] I’ll be bigger on some on some baby s**t,”He wrote.
Youngboy then accused him of not supporting him, when he said: “Bru told Atlantic he wanted money for the feature on ‘Mr. Crawford.’ U never supported me. U posted my s**t once, I been sign to NBA for 3 years, but I’m raw so I kept dis s**t goin on my own.”
NoCap and NBA Youngboy beef hots up
The beef between NoCap, NBA Youngboy was heated further. Youngboy responded with a replyHe claimed he was a better rapper that Jay-Z, and accused NoCap of playing “industry chess”.
He stated: “Jay-Z can’t out rap me boy, this ain’t bout no music. You just a scary b**h,”NoCap was then accused of not being capable to pay his “tax bill”.
“You play industry chess but just don’t know this game ain’t got no loyalty,”He stated. “You ran with me because I was popping at the moment.”
NoCap was then reported to have said “he never ran away”.
