A pink Scottish castle with roots dating back to the 14th century is available to rent on a weekly basis for roughly £3,000, or around $4,000, its owner told Insider.

The UK-based website lists the Pink Castle in Largs (Ayreshire) as a vacation rental option Castle and Cottages.
Bruce Walker, owner of the castle, told Insider he rents the castle on a weekly basis to visitors for around £3,000, or roughly $4,000. A long weekend stay costs around £1,800, or around $2,400, he added.
Walker, who was born in Ayrshire, returned to the area in 2000 after 28 years in Hong Kong. He bought the land and now lives in another castle close by with his family.
