Illinois Police Officer Provides CPR to Baby with Stopping Breathing. Dramatic Rescue

A police officer in Illinois saved a baby boy aged 10 months who was unable to breathe. The dramatic rescue was captured on his body camera.

As Nathan Jimenez was rushed to the hospital by his family, officers with the Posen Police Department met them along the way and immediately began CPR. You can hear his grandmother and parents panicking near him.

After a while, the little boy was able to start breathing again. The little boy began to cry.

Paramedics took the child to the ambulance and checked his vitals.

“We went over to the family’s house two days ago when he got released from the hospital. He was with his mom, dad and grandma. He was happy as can be. He was smiling, alert, looking around,”Detective Corporal Matthew Leveille was the hero officer that saved the boy’s lives.

Nathan’s family says they suspect he had a seizure after falling and losing consciousness.
