Netflix has been a great platform for rising actors, with series like The Midnight Club giving new stars the opportunity to break onto the scene.

This series is about a group at Brightcliffe Hospice who meet each night at midnight to share their scary stories.

One of the series’ chief characters is Kevin who is played by relative newcomer Igby Rigney but what do we know about this rising star – from his age and education to his previous roles?

Kevin is one the eight members at Brightcliffe Hospice’s Midnight Club.

His high school track record was impressive until he was diagnosed in terminal leukemia. He lost his friendships and athletic ability.

However, Brightcliffe and his friends in the Midnight Club offer a glimmer of hope, especially the group’s newest addition, Ilonka, as a cosmic connection quickly begins to form between the pair.

Meet Igby Rigney, actor

Igby Riigney plays the role of Kevin in The Midnight Club.

Born on June 6, 2003 in Ossining, New York, Igby Rigney is 19 years of age as of The Midnight Club’s release in October 2022.

When he was younger, Igby went to Ossining High School and later studied at Pace University in New York.

Igby, like most actors in modern times, is very active on social media. InstagramHe currently has a fan base of just over 24,000. However, that number is expected to grow with The Midnight Club.

The young actor often posts behind-the scene images of his work, as well as posts to promote his future projects.

Igby Rigney’s previous roles

In 2018, Igby’s on-screen acting debut was made when he appeared as Blue Bloods.

The 19-year old has appeared in seven roles on TV and in films since then. Notable credits include Last Summer With Uncle Ira and Double Down South.

Igby also played Warren Flynn in Midnight Mass, and he will be appearing in The Fall Of House Usher. This series is also being helmed in part by Mike Flanagan (creator of The Midnight Club series).
