It is one the few dispensaries approved and licensed by Jersey City Cannabis Control Board. This board governs cultivation, testing, sales, licensing, and cultivation of cannabis. The state has yet to approve the project.

The Medicine Woman Jersey City dispensary will be opening later in the year. The venue will be housed in five thousand square feet of premium retail. In addition to limited edition merchandising, education, and inspiration, the venue will also feature some of New Jersey’s top cannabis brands.

Ice-T and Charis have been friends for over 25 years. The Medicine Woman, a California non-profit delivery agency that focuses on plant remedies, was established by Charis B in 2015. Charis B, who is actually Charis Burrett’s real name, stated that she and Luke started with 300 products, and now have over 1,000.
