I went dumpster diving with GameStop. At first, I found junk. But then I discovered the jackpot.

A TIKTOKER set out to find gaming treasure in a GameStop dumpster and hit the jackpot.

The dumpsters at GameStop might be the right place for you if you’re looking to save money or if you’re a dedicated gamer.

TikTok Video@cgmerkz was a content creator who decided to drive to the back of the store in the dark to see what it had to offer.

The TikToker couldn’t find any valuable items in trash at first.

He discovered a poster advertising Cyberpunk, a video game that was released in 2020.

He also discovered a poster of Godfall, which was published the same year.

The posters were still a big hit with the TikToker, even though they weren’t much.

He didn’t seem to have much luck when he was looking through old video games cases that had no discs.

Then, he struck the jackpot!

He found a Nintendo Switch video game in a GameStop bag.

The Nintendo Super Smash Bros. The Ultimate video game appeared to still be in its original case.

But, wait!

TikToker found a Nintendo Switch. This is a highly sought-after and costly gaming system. It also included a carry case.

Walmart has this system at $409.99

However, the Switch had a small crack at the bottom right corner of its screen and a missing joystick from one of the controllers. It still turned on.

GameStop can replace the broken controller for $32.99, or he could use the device as a single user with the original controller.

The TikToker would only save $377 on a complete Switch if it was used for dumpster diving.
