Ramsay’s recipe calls on Romano cheese with Pepperberry and Asiago cheese, thick slices from country bread, kimchi, and thick slices of country cheese. I needed to buy a few other options. Foodtown had only soft, pre-sliced country bread. I decided to get the next best thing, a freshly baked loaf ciabatta bread. It looked almost identical to Ramsay’s shape and hard crust.
Even though I believe in a Cheese shopI would have loved to have had the same blocks as Ramsay’s Asiago and Romano cheeses, so I purchased pre-packaged. You can substitute Romano with Pepperberry for the pink peppercorns in this recipe. I found a peppercorn grinder that had the pink variety.
