‘I Didn’t Want to Lose my Friend’

Young man saw his friend was in trouble and ran to his aid. It turned out that his buddy had been attacked by a bear, so it was not an easy task to stop the beast. But the brave man was determined not to lose heart.

Orrin Johnson, Kendell Harrison and Kendell Cummings attended Northwest College, Cody, Wyoming. The four college friends were also members of the Northwest College Wrestling Team, and enjoyed close friendship.

Antler Search

Brady, who hails from Cedar City, Utah said it was getting late. However, before heading home, Brady and his friends broke into teams to look for antlers. Then, suddenly, he saw a large bear emerging from the willows.

Cummings was asked about why he felt the need for his friend to be saved from the bear’s grasps. responded:
