Emily recommends that a journey of seven hours or less be taken by train or car.

You might end up spending more time waiting in airports than you do getting there. It may also be more affordable in the end.

3. Carry on luggage is a must for any travel.

Many bags are getting lost because of problems at airports this Summer. It’s best not to check your luggage in if possible.

There are many tips to help you reduce the size of your bag so that you don’t have to wait to check-in or lose them.

4. Track luggage using Airtags

An Airtag is a great way to track the location of your bag so it doesn’t get lost.

5. Fly early in the morning

Emily explains. “super early flights are less likely to get cancelled”You will have a better chance of getting ahead if you start early.

6. Get travel insurance

There are so many issues that travellers face this summer and it is crucial to make sure you have adequate cover.

An adequate policy will cover you for cancellations, lost luggage, and everything else that you might need.

Experts warn that travel chaos could last months, with particular baggage issues.

Airports are now introducing passenger caps in an effort to reduce the problems they’re having.
