Andor will fly to Disney+ on Wednesday August 31, 2022.

Andor, which begins five years prior to the events of Rogue One tells the story the Rebel Alliance grew from a few individuals into the fighting force that destroyed the Galactic Empire.

How many episodes are there in Andor.

In its initial season, Andor will have 12 episodes.

Star Wars veterans will be pleased to know that Andor is the largest live-action Star Wars series. The Mandalorian only has eight episodes per season, The Book of Boba Fett has seven and Obi-Wan Kenobi has six.

The first two episodes of Andor will all be released together on August 31. After that, the series will revert to a weekly schedule.

Andor will be ending after 12 episodes on November 9. This means that the entire schedule for Andor looks exactly like this:

Season 2 has already been confirmed

That’s right, not content with just 12 episodes, Lucasfilm has confirmed that Andor will run for two seasons.

It has been done. Announced that season 2 will consist of a second batch of 12 episodes, making it comfortably the biggest live-action Star Wars series we’ve seen on Disney+ so far with a total of 24 chapters.

After the story begins five years prior to the events of Rogue One, Andor’s first season will follow Cassian over just one year as he takes his first steps towards becoming a revolutionary.

Second 2 will then be the four years that follow, and it will detail the escalated war between Empire & Rebel Alliance before leading to Rogue One.
