Actor Josh O’Connor, who just won his first Emmy for portraying a younger Prince Charles in the third season of “The Crown,” recently told ET Online that he was actually shocked to hear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle watch the show, just like the rest of the non-royal world does. O’Connor learned about Harry’s admission from the Emmy Awards, while everyone else knew about it for months. He said, “I actually didn’t know that. I mean, that’s great. I love that. I’m quite pleased. I mean, any audience for ‘The Crown’ is great. I’m so glad that they watched it and I think it’s one of those shows that’s just touched a lot of people. So, the more, the merrier.”
O’Connor also admitted that if he were given a chance, he would ask Prince Charles a particular question about his diet. “I just want to ask him if he has a boiled egg with every meal, which apparently he does! Which, I feel like is a good question,” He continued. He added that market research is obviously important.
