The 8 November Blood Moon Eclipse is scheduled to last for just over 3 hours.

However, the total eclipse portion of the eclipse will only last about an hour and half. It starts at 5:17 EST (10.17 GMT) at 6:42 EST (11.42 GMT).

Who can see the blood moon, anyway?

The best place to view the total moon eclipse is in northeast Asia and northwestern North America.

However, most of North America and South America, Australia, Southeast Asia, Australia, South America, and central Asia will still be able see some parts of the eclipse.
