Peter Dinklage recently went on the road to promote his new movie. Cyrano. Unsurprisingly, that’s all anyone would like to ask him about. Game of Thrones. He was a great sport about it, even going into detail with The New York TimesConcerning his views on the finale. (He was a fan and believes everyone should continue to watch the finale. Dinklage made his most recent press conference and appeared on the podcast. Marc Maron: WTF?, where the host asked him about HBO’s first Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon. Although Dinklage is optimistic about the future, he does have reservations.
Hype for HBO’s House of the Dragon
“I think it is going to be a really good show,”Dinklage stated. “The director and producer of it worked on our show, and I think it’s going to be really fucking good.”
Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik will be the co-showrunners/executive producers House of the Dragon. Perhaps Sapochnik is best known for his directing some of the most memorable episodes in television history. Game of Thrones to ever air including “Hardhome,” “Battle of the Bastards,” “The Winds of Winter,” “The Long Night.”
Sapochnik’s involvement should certainly ease the minds of anyone worried that House of the DragonYou might not like it Game of Thrones. The spirit of HBO’s smash hit fantasy epic should be alive and well (even if most of the characters are dead). Dinklage warns that there may be some downsides to trying to recreate the magic from the original show.
What could possibly go wrong?
“But, they took a risk on our show, HBO did,”Dinklage added. Game of Thrones wasn’t quite a surefire hit when it launched. “They took a huge risk on our show. It was a slow start, but why don’t they do that again? This isn’t a risk. It’s a proven thing that works.”
One can creatively see Dinklage’s origins. Game of ThronesIt ran for eighteen years and was one of TV’s most popular stories. We’ve explored every corner of the world and saw many of the characters grow up and live full lives in the harsh universe created by author George R.R. Martin. Martin.
The money is the answer. Game of ThronesOne of the most valuable media assets in existence. Even though fans didn’t like the end, millions of viewers will be tuning in for the next installment set in this universe. What better way to get new HBO Max subscribers than to show the sequel to the greatest TV series ever created? There was never any doubt that HBO would return to Martin’s world. What number of shows will the network plan to produce?
