Janet Skelton, HELEN’s mother, cried last night as her Strictly star daughter thanked Janet for her support.
Countryfile’s Countryfile presenter did a Paso Doble just days after Central Recorder announced that Richie Myler’s ex-girlfriend had become pregnant.

Helen, 39, has three children with Richie, 32.
Claudia Winkleman, Strictly host, spoke to Helen after she danced with Gorka Marquez. “Your parents are in the audience, and I know you just wanted to say thanks to them.”
Helen responded: “They hate public praise, so I should be favourite child after that!”
“Do you know what, grandparents keep this country on its feet. And my parents keep me on my feet. So thank you to them.”
Gorka then shared his thoughts on Helen’s show partner.
Claudia and the Spanish dancer chatted with Claudia. Then suddenly, Claudia asked: “Can we just say something?”
“I know that you have been going through a tough time. I also know that you’ve been made feel inferior or not good enough.
“But if your belief in yourself is not strong enough, I believe in you.” Everyone believes in and supports you.
Gorka spoke while the contestants cheered. Helen bit her lip, then hid behind Gorka before reappearing. But she was unable say anything.
Gorka continued, and she seemed overcome with emotion.
“You are an amazing woman, very inspirational, an amazing mum and an incredible dancer so believe in you please.”
Twitter was used by strictly viewers to leave comments on the moment. One comment was made: “I think her ex husband has made helen feel so s**t about herself she actually believes shes not good enough 😡 you go @HelenSkeltongirl you’re amazing ! #strictly.”
A second: “Feel bad for Helen – you need to believe in yourself, we all do! – not easy to do when you’ve been through what she has recently.”
This week, Central Recorder reported that ex-Richie was expecting a baby with Stephanie Thirkill, just six months after he left Helen.
