It’s not surprising to see celebrities go all out for Halloween. They’re accustomed to hair, makeup and wardrobe as part of their daily lives, so they really have to up the ante to make a statement for the holiday. Some paid tribute to classic characters this year (like Kim KardashianChanneling Mystique from X-Men) and others stirring up controversy (e.g. Megan Fox and MGK’s priest getupHeidi Klum, supermodel and model, took a totally different route when she became a giant worm. She achieved the “wow” factor she was going for, but the moment didn’t come without its struggles, as Klum explained what it was like to be inside that costume.
The America’s Got TalentThe judge made quite the splash at her Halloween party when she was dressed as a worm on a hook of a fishing rod by Tom Kaulitz, her husband (dressed naturally as a fisherman). As Heidi Klum later said, it was a nightmare Heidi Klum lived in her suit. ETShe described what it was like wearing the costume. She said:
She covered her ears while explaining that she could not communicate well with any worms. It’s clear from the description that this costume was not meant for anyone with claustrophobic tendencies. She was so limited in mobility that she was afraid she would suffocate when she wriggled on a ground. Heidi Klum continued:
It seems unlikely that anyone, particularly her husband, would forget about the human-sized worm lying on the ground, but as Heidi Klum said, there’s no place for logic when those fears start to set in.
She did manage to reach her goal, which she stated was to entertain her fellows. America’s Got Talent judges. While Howie Mandel may have enjoyed the joke, ET revealed that he really thought about it. “it was scary.” I can’t say I disagree. You can see one of Heidi Klum’s videos on Instagram:
