The stalking charge against Carvalho is in relation to the “writing of cards online which were then sent to the complainant via a third party” and the “posting of handwritten letters.” The charge further states that her alleged actions had a “substantial adverse effect on Harry’s usual day-to-day activities when she knew or ought to have known that her course of conduct would cause alarm or distress.”
