How to set your Google Maps home address
Google Maps makes it easy to set up your work or home address. Computer:
- Open Google Maps first and ensure that you are signed into it.
- Click the three-lined symbol at the top of the maps to open a menu.
- Click on “Your Places”, then click on “Labeled”.
- You can then press ‘Home’, ‘Work’, and enter the addresses.
Similar to the above, to set your home and work addresses using an Apple or Android smartphone, sign in to Google Maps. Then, press the Save icon at the bottom.
Scroll down to Labeled’, which is found under Your Lists’, and enter the correct addresses.
Google Maps Home Address Change
Google makes it easy to move using a phone, computer or other electronic device.
Sign in to Google Maps, and then type in “Home” or “Work” – depending on what you want to change.
After pressing ‘Edit’, enter the new address. Finally, click Save.
How to delete your Google Maps Home Address
However, if you wish to completely delete your home or workplace address, you can do so by signing in again to your Google Maps account.
Repeat the process to locate your home or work address. Then, press the “X” next to the address that you wish to delete.
