Sam Champion, a GOOD Morning America weatherman, revealed that he “can’t see at all”Without his glasses.
The following is an Instagram LiveFilmed on Wednesday, Sam was joined his co-host Heather O’Rourke for a discussion about the current weather as well as interaction with fans.
Heather said to Sam at one point: “Your font is so small,”She referred to her son’s mobile phone screen.
“I know! Should I up my font a little bit because I can’t read anything this morning,”Sam replied.
He then turned to grab something from the side and said: “Wait, get ready, here come the Harry Potter glasses!”
Sam put the black-rimmed glasses on his face, and then he admitted: “Because I cannot see this morning at all!”
Sam continued reading comments from Instagram Live followers once his glasses were on.
Sam then took off his glasses, and then he put them back. “God, look at this, I am now the old guy who takes his glasses off!”
Heather and he then shared their morning routines.
“I wake up at 1:58am because 2am is too late,”Heather revealed the following: “This morning I got up at 1.55am actually.”

“Good, that’s a normal time, I feel better that you chose a normal time!”Sam laughed at her.
“Oh that’s just for today, don’t get used to that,”She responded, before she stated that she is adamant about getting eight hours of sleep and that she will try to be in bed by six o’clock each night.
BEDTIME ROUTINE
Sam said, “I get in at 6 o’clock. I don’t want to wait any longer.” It’s militant that lights go out at 6:15 p.m.
“And that is when I’m likely to get snippy. If anyone comes to the door right around 6 o’clock or if friends text me right around 6 o’clock, I’m like, ‘do you not know what I have to do?'”
He said, ” “But no one else’s life is like that, like normal people are thinking about things from 4, 5 or 6 o’clock.”
Referring to Rubem, he continued: “And Rubem wants to have these important conversations about scheduling, and timing and plans, and I’m like, ‘I have zero braincells right now!'”
Heather and Sam love to live-stream on Instagram, chatting with fans and sharing their experiences.
SAM’S BANCTER
Sam corrected his host last month after his mistaken choice of words was pointed out by his Instagram Live cohost.
Sam asked Ray, a show staffer, if Ray was asking if they were being too loud.
Heather said to the employee they were on live “FacebookSam quickly corrected the error.
“Now, we’re doing Instagram. This is calledInstagram,”According to theGood Morning Americameteorologist
“My bad,”Heather laughed.
But, this was not the only moment of tension during the Live session.
Sam observed that Sam had once said: “there’s a little bit more mist and probably less rain”This morning.
Heather called him out and asked: “[Have] you been listening to Sam keep saying mist and fog?”
“So, there’s a song that’s stuck in my head … Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison,”She continued.
Heather referred to the lyrics of the hit song in her comment. “In the misty morning fog with, our hearts a-thumping and you; My brown-eyed girl.”
Sam laughed at this comparison and made a joke about it “no one knows the lyrics to that song.”
