Gary Busey is facing four charges, including two counts of criminal sexual contact, for alleged incidents that took place during New Jersey’s Monster Mania Convention the weekend of Aug. 12.
In a Press releaseThe Cherry Hill Police Department reported that authorities responded to a report about sex offences at the Doubletree Hotel.
The 78-year old actor was arrested Friday on two counts of fourth-degree sexual contact. One count of criminal attempted/criminal sexual touch in the fourth degree. One count of harassment, disorderly person offense. The incident was not further described.
The investigation is ongoing.
Monster ManiaThis convention is for horror film and memorabilia fans. It takes place semi-annually in Hunt Valley and Oaks, Pennsylvania. Cherry Hill is also included. According to its Facebook page Busey was a part of the “Alien/Aliens”lineup for his works on “Predator 2.” “Point Break,” “Buddy Holly and Silver Bullet”are also listed as his noteworthy credits.
Among the celebrities who attended the convention from Aug. 12-14 were Ralph Macchio and David Arquette, Matthew Lillard and Lee Waddell. Veronica Cartwright, Tom Skerritt, and Matthew Lillard are also among them.
