The FX comedy pilot “English Teacher”a main cast has been found Varietyhe has only learned.
Stephanie Koenig (“Lessons in Chemistry,” “The Offer”), Enrico Colantoni (“Just Shoot Me,” “Station Eleven”), and Julian Sergi (“Ramy,” “War Dogs”) have all joined as series regulars. Carmen Christopher (“The Bear,” “Killing It”), Jordan Firstman (“Big Mouth,” “Ms. Marvel”), Yissendy Trinidad (“Babylon,” “You’re Not Alone”Langston Kerman (“Insecure,” “The Boys”) will all appear in recurring roles.
“English Teacher”Originally ordered to fly in June. Production is underway. Brian Jordan Alvarez, who wrote the pilot, stars as Evan, an Austin-based gay high school English teacher. He is accompanied by his fellow teachers in the series. “trying to balance the competing demands of the students and their parents in a world where the rules seem to change every day.”Alvarez and Paul Simms are executive producers on this pilot. “What We Do in the Shadows”And “Atlanta.”
Koenig will be playing Gwendolyn. Colantoni will portray Principal Moretti. Sergi will play Markie. Christopher will portray Rick. Malcolm will be played in the role of Firstman. Trinidad will play Estela. Kerman will play Harry.
