LOVE Island fans are calling for show winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to replace Laura Whitmore, after comments she made on Aftersun.
Laura announced Ekin Su (27 years old) and Davide Sanclimenti (28 years old) as the winners in the 2022 series. The result delighted viewers.

Fans are now pleading via social media for Ekin Su to take over as host of the eighth series.
One person said: “Let’s be honest, Ekinsu IS love island. Now where and what do I need to sign for Ekin to replace Laura Whitmore?”
A second: “Yeah Laura you hug Ekin Su because you won’t be hugging her when she takes your job x.”
Another said: “Ekin Su is getting Laura Whitmore’s job oh I see it. Of course she will be far more involved than Laura.”
Laura and Ekin Su celebrated the win with photos of the victory, as well as videos. There was even a TikTok dancing performance. Fans expressed their hope that Ekin will see these clips of Laura. “slut-shaming her and goes for her job.”
Laura, 37 years old, was criticised earlier this month for comments she made about Ekin Su, a Turkish beauty, and her antics on Casa Amor.
Love Island’s host, who was questioning what the soap star was doing with Islander George Tasker, was ridiculed by her fans.
Laura continued to question the episode on Aftersun, despite Ekin-Su repeatedly denigrating that any incident occurred.
Laura began by saying: “Once again Ekin-Su swore that nothing happened with George and it seems Davide doesn’t believe her.”
Laura burst into tears as Tom Grennan, singer and show-guest, exclaimed: “It deffo happened though didn’t it”
Laura decided to not end the conversation and instead turned to Sian Welby for her opinion about Ekin-Su’s Casa Amor behavior.
Her family and friends felt very uncomfortable by the comments, so they used social media to contact Laura. “s**t shaming”Ekin-Su TV.
