For World Vegan Month, we test the most recent products

NOVEMBER is World Vegan Month. It celebrates those who have eliminated animal products.

Veganism does not automatically mean you are healthier. Tara tests cream bronzers and I test the latest products.

KEFIR – This is a probiotic drink usually made from cow’s milk. Biotiful has the world’s first oat kefir using the same fermentation process that has been used for 2,000 years.

Great for gut health and immunity, with billions of live cultures as well as vitamins B12 and B2

It is great for immunity and gut health, and contains billions of live cultures. It is creamy, delicious and oaty with only 3.1% fat. I enjoyed the strawberry flavour, whether it was poured over granola and as a beverage. Three flavours available in 250ml containers

CHEESE – Dairy-free Greek-style Crumbles from Follow Your Heart are supposed to be like crumbled feta cheese. The idea is great – a vegan substitute for a salad, whipped into a delicious dip or added to avocado toast.

It didn’t resemble feta to me and is a bit odd

But it didn’t resemble feta to me. It was strong, salty and a little odd. It’s 23 per cent coconut oil (aka fat, so the same level as normal feta) with potato starch and salt. This is not the right product for me.

CHOCOLATE PUDDING – Award-winning British brand Nush has brought out a dessert range. I loved the Almond M*lk Chocolate Fudge Pots.

Not sickly sweet, with 65 per cent almond milk and 12 per cent fat

A healthy sweet almond milk contains 65 percent almond milk, and 12 percent fat.

They’re not soft and smooth mousses for kids – these are rich and decadent cocoa puddings with a ganache texture. They were delicious. They are not too sweet with only 65 percent almond milk and 12 percent fat. These are great as a treat. They also contain 5g of protein per cup and 250 calories.

BUDGET – The pot was smaller than I expected but a little went a really long way. The putty texture turns to a powder quickly. It makes it difficult to get seamless application.

To avoid tidelines, I prefer to use a makeup brush to apply the make-up to my face. Although the formula wasn’t the easiest, there are eight shades to choose from, which is really impressive for the price. It’s great to see a high street brand catering for a more diverse range of skin tones.

MID – Boosted with skin-loving ingredients such as aloe and jojoba to condition skin. I chose Flare, which was the lightest of all the four shades. It was pleasant surprise. The finish wasn’t too matte or too glowy, giving it a natural, real-skin finish.

This ultra-precise gloss style wand is great for contouring my nose. It can also be used to make eyeshadow. It’s easy to layer without making it too cakey. My favorite.

  • Glossier Solar Paint, £17, 13ml, glossier.com – Buy Now

LUXURY – The super-creamy formula was easy to blend in without it going patchy, plus it is easy to sheer out if you need to fix any mistakes.

The finish was more radiant than expected

The end was more radiant than anticipated

It was easier to use my beauty blender to distribute the colour. Although the sponge on the end made the product more concentrated and became a little grubby, it would still work for quick touch-ups. The finish was radiant and I got two shades. Ideal for special occasions
