Filming starts for Netflix’s hit ‘Deserter Pursuit’ K-drama

Netflix Korea just confirmed that filming has begun for the second season of its hit D.P. (Deserter Pursuit) Korean drama series has now started.

Netflix has the exclusive international broadcasting rights to the vast majority of Korean dramas.

The rare K-drama that is made, however, has been a success with series like Kingdom, Love Alarm and Extracurricular as well as Sweet Home and D.P. The series is making waves all over the globe.

D.P. fans will be delighted to hear that filming for season 2 has officially begun. K-drama (otherwise known as Deserter Pursuit) will be delighted to hear that filming for season 2 has officially started – here’s everything that we know so far.

D.P. Season 2 in production at Netflix

D.P. (Deserter Pursuit) Season 1 was released on Netflix on August 7, 2021. Only a few months later, in December, the Korean drama series got renewed for season 2.

The announcement was made via Entertain NaverOutlet, which is noted “In Season 2, director Han Joon-hee will direct and writer Kim Bo-tong will co-write the screenplay, and they will work together once again after season 1.”

While fans were delighted to hear the show was renewed, there was consensus among the community that it would return for a second set.

The episode’s ending, specifically regarding Private Ahn Jun-Ho as well as the soldier in the scene after the credits, is the most obvious reason for optimism. In what is supposed to be an indication that he has deserted the military police, our main character sprints away from his unit’s last sighting.

But, the most important thing is what we see onscreen. “D-514” a.k.a. 514 days before his discharge from the military. The events of season 1 took us through Ahn Jun-Ho’s first 216 days in the military, meaning that there could be enough ‘time’For at least two additional seasons before his mandatory service period ends.

Next, we get to see Private Cho Sukong’s friend reach his breaking point. After watching the news broadcast, the soldier launches a volley of bullets at his unit before the scene fades into black.

D.P. The D.P. has been popular enough with both domestic audiences and international viewers to warrant a second season. It scored an impressive 8.8/10 MyDramaList10% off Asianwiki, 8.2/10 IMDB.

It was interesting to note that there were already rumors about a second season if the original pursuit was well-received, before the series made its global premiere. One post on social media That “Kim Botong [writer] said he will share some info about Season 2 if D.P Season 1 will be successful and if Season 2 will become apparent.”

Netflix Korea confirms D.P. Season 2 of Netflix Korea has begun filming

Netflix Korea launched November 11th. Twitter Page uploaded many images from the D.P. The second season set confirmed that production on the K-drama was back in full swing.

“For those of you who have been waiting patiently, Junho sent me a photo of the < DP > season 2 filming site” – Netflix Korea, via Twitter.

Netflix and the showrunners have not shared a release window.

However, Netflix Korea did confirm on Instagram Ji Jin-hee joined the team along with Kim Ji-hyun.

The series’ first season was announced in June 2020, with filming reportedlyThe program began in March 2021 and ends in July 2021.

If D.P. Fans could see season 2 on Netflix by May 2023 if the D.P.
