Two men have been arrested on suspicion of poisoning after a man was found dead in his home. The incident took place in Weeting, Norfolk, where the police were called after reports of two men in their 50s being seriously ill at a property.

Norfolk Police sadly confirmed that one of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed for immediate treatment at West Suffolk in Bury St Edmunds. Although the latter was later discharged, the unfortunate event led to further investigations and subsequent arrests of the two men on suspicion of poisoning.

Arrests and Interrogations
A man in his 40s was arrested in Thetford and was brought in for questioning at the Police Investigation Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. On the other hand, a man in his 50s was detained in Weeting and interrogated by authorities at the Police Investigation Centre in Wymondham, Norfolk.

Official Statement
The police were quick to respond to the distressing situation, arriving at the scene on March 3 at approximately 10:30 pm. A Home Office post-mortem has been scheduled for the deceased man, as the death is currently being treated as unexplained. Both suspects have been released on bail, awaiting further developments in the ongoing investigation.
