Don’t Make Me Go release date and plot preview

Don’t Make Me Go drove its way onto Amazon Prime Video on Friday, July 15Th, 2022.

The film is about Max (John Cho), a single dad who finds out he has a terminal illness.

Max is determined to make up the lost years with Wally (Mia Isaac), his teenage daughter.

The pair embark on a cross country road trip from California and New Orleans together, Max hoping to attend his 20th birthday.Th college reunion, where he secretly hopes to reunite with Wally’s mother who left them years earlier.

Don’t Make Me Go promises the journey of a lifetime as it explores the unbreakable and eternal bond between father and daughter with plenty of heart and humour thrown in for good measure.

Who was responsible for the score?

On top of its licensed songs, Don’t Make Me Go also features a heartfelt score that is the work of composer Jessica Rose Weiss.

Jessica Rose Weiss, who received a remarkable musical education while working with Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer & Mychael Dana, quickly accumulated a large body of work.

In recent years, she has composed the music for Netflix’s Dog Gone Trouble: The Afterlife of the Party and Prime Video’s Cinderella.

Don’t Make Me Go is available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video after releasing on July 15Th, 2022.
