It’s an excellent tool for when you’re not at home and are unable or unwilling to answer calls using the Ring app.
Quick Replies was launched in the U.K. in February 2021.

It can be activated at any time via the Ring Android and iOS apps.
Visitors who press the doorbell will hear your preset message.
Your phone can notify callers to hang up while you wait, get to the door, or leave a package outside.
Once the visitor has listened, they can leave a note that you can hear through the Ring app.
Open the app, tap the three lines in the upper left corner of the screen and you can try the tool.
Tap DevicesChoose the doorbell you would like to set up.
Tap the Smart ResponsesTurn the toggle switch to tile Quick ResponsesSwitch so that it’s in blue “on” position.
Tap Quick ReplySelect a message and click the “Next” button. The message will be recorded.
You can choose a year-round or seasonal message that is relevant to the occasion, such as Christmas.
You can also select a delay period so the message plays right away or up until 20 seconds after the doorbell rings.
Tap SaveTo complete the setup.
Ring claims on its website, “Quick Replies messages are displayed on your timeline in the same way as individual events. There’s no subscription required for Quick Replies.
“However, only Ring Protect subscribers will be able to listen to recordings of Quick Replies interactions in their Event History.”
