Claire King, EMMERDALE’s leading lady, has suggested that Kim Tate might be leaving the village.
Claire first portrayed soap’s first bad girl from 1989 to 1999 before returning in 2018 to wreak more havoc across the Dales.

However, the star suggests that Kim Tate might be in a better place for the 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Kim has been busy with Will’s wedding preparations, as well as dealing with stress and suspicions about Harriet and Will.
Claire suggests that Kim might be the one who is going, as Emmerdale bosses joke that the show will see many deaths.
Claire suggested to Harriet that Kim and Harriet are in peril as the storm batters the village. Claire also suggested that Will may feel resentful towards Kim if Harriet was ever hurt.
She said: “If Harriet doesn’t pull through, Will’s not going to be too happy. Kim does suspect there’s something going on between them. I think Will could possibly blame Kim for whatever happens to Harriet.”
She also talked about how intense it was to film certain scenes during the drama week, hinting that she may have to stop acting in those parts. “Being thrown around the woods and in the dirt, I’m too old for that!”
The actress expressed her desire to spend more time with Spain, prompting speculation that her character might be one of those who will die in the upcoming scenes.
Claire said: “But I’d also like to add that I had a lovely time in Spain so it might be Kim that goes. I don’t get much time to go there.”
Kim has been featured in numerous high-profile stories throughout the years. She has also had some very difficult times with Jamie, her son.
Claire’s return as Kim in 2018 featured her be dramatically pushed off the mezzanine at Home Farm and resulted in a whodunnit storyline.
