Elle King Postpones Upcoming Tour Dates

Elle King has made the decision to postpone several upcoming tour dates, including shows in Shipshewana, Ind., Waukegan, Ill., and Harris, Mich. The new dates have been rescheduled to March. Fans who have already purchased tickets can rest assured that their tickets will remain valid for the new dates. In the event that they are unable to attend, refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase.

Instagram Announcement

In a Jan. 25 Instagram Story, the 34-year-old singer shared the updated tour dates. She expressed her apologies for any inconvenience caused by the postponed shows and extended an invitation to her fans to join her at the rescheduled performances. “If you can’t make the date, refunds are available at point of purchase. See you there!” she said.

Recent Controversy

Elle King’s decision to postpone her shows comes shortly after she faced backlash for a performance at a Dolly Parton birthday tribute at the Grand Ole Opry. During her rendition of Dolly’s “Marry Me,” the Grammy nominee appeared to forget the lyrics and began swearing on stage, leaving many fans disappointed.

Just a day earlier, the singer had already rescheduled a Jan. 26 show in Texas for September. While no reason for the rescheduling was given, it is clear that King is working to make amends and ensure a successful tour for her fans.
