Elizabeth Holmes is currently awaiting a sentencing hearing on four of the 11 federal fraud and conspiracy charges. According to a filing, this date has been moved back to September 26.
CNNOn Tuesday, both the defense and prosecution proposed September 12 as a date for a sentencing hearing. “following Labor Day 2022 would be appropriate in light of ongoing proceedings in a related matter.”
This was in reference the upcoming Ramesh trial “Sunny”Balwani was Holmes’ ex-boyfriend and second-in command at Theranos.
Holmes’ case was heard by Judge Edward Davila. A court order signed Wednesday set Holmes’ sentencing hearing for September.
According to the defense and prosecution filings, Holmes, 37 years old, will remain in good standing on a $500,000 secured property bond.
