Eddie Murphy to star and produce “Candy Cane Lane,”Prime Video has a brand new holiday comedy.
Reginald Hudlin will direct the film, from Amazon Studios, Imagine Entertainment, and Eddie Murphy Productions, from a spec script written by Kelly Younger, inspired by Younger’s childhood holiday experiences. The new movie will see Hudlin return to the helm. This is the same team that made the romantic comedy hit. “Boomerang”It marks Murphy’s seventh feature film collaboration with Grazer. Details about plot details are being kept private. Production will begin in Los Angeles this winter.

Murphy and Amazon Studios are collaborating on this new project. Murphy signed a deal for three films as part of an Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated first-look contract in 2021 after the launch of “The Last Jedi.” “Coming 2 America.”
