General Hospital (GH), spoilers: Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), is passionate about helping Willow Tait(Katelyn McMullen), find her birth parents. He’s gone through this himself, and he knows how much it would mean to Willow to have the truth about where she came from, especially as she readies to welcome her own child into the world.
Drew doesn’t know Willow has leukemia. He needs to find out who her living relatives are, as her life is at stake. Still, he’s going to do everything in his power to help her get some answers, starting with a media blitz on Willow’s story.

When Drew offered to have Aurora Media tackle Willow’s story and put it out into the universe for all eyes to see, she was overwhelmed with gratitude. Obviously, Drew is under the impression that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had a DNA test done comparing Willow’s DNA to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and that the result was not a match. So he doesn’t see the harm is forging on full steam ahead with this search, and Carly isn’t going to be able to tell him why she has a problem with it when Willow’s story goes viral.

Carly may not be revealing what she learned, but another person in town has some information about Willow’s birth. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has always assumed her role in the day of Nelle Benson-Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) birth was nothing more than what she knew. She gave birth to a child for a couple who wanted it.
Nina never thought she would have to guess that the child was twins. When Phyllis sees the story and recognizes how much it sounds like the same experience she had, and that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was involved, she’s going to mention it to someone, but who might that someone be? She might share her thoughts with Nina (Maurice Benard) or Sonny Corinthos(Maurice Benard) or she may go straight to Drew or Willow with what she believes she knows.

When Phyllis implies Nelle may not have been Nina’s daughter because it seems like the storyline matches up for Willow to be, it may be someone else who connects the dots that the two women could be twins. However, any implication that Willow’s story matches up with what happened to Nina is going to make Drew’s wheels start turning. Drew begins to doubt Carly’s truthfulness, and Drew will be looking into a DNA test on Willow and Nina before telling either one of them.
