A grand jury handed over the indictment Monday evening to an Atlanta judge. Fani willis, the Fulton County District attorney made it official just before midnight.
“The defendants engaged in a criminal racketeering enterprise to overturn Georgia’s presidential election result,” Willis said at a press conference.
Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, as well as Jenna Ellis, are among the 18 defendants.
Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows is being indicted for the first time, along with Trump’s attorney John Eastman and former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark. All were charged with conspiring to overturn Georgia’s election results.

According to the indictment, Kutti allegedly visited Ruby Freeman at her home to pressure her to admit falsely that she was involved with rigging the elections.
Freeman, along with her daughter Shaye Moors, testified to the committee on Jan. 6, that their lives had been turned upside-down by Conspiracy theories, including a claim by Giuliani that Freeman and Moss were “passing around USB ports as if they were vials of heroin.”
Moss said her mother handed her ginger mint.
Trump took action before the indictment was announced. Social Media to lash out at the Fulton County district attorney, calling her “phoney (sic) Fani Willis.”
Trump and the co-defendants of Trump have 10 working days to hand themselves over. Fulton County’s district attorney has said she would issue arrest warrants for those who fail to comply.
Trump’s attorney appeared on Fox News saying Trump plans to surrender himself.
“They’re gonna force him to have a mugshot. The purpose of a mugshot is when you don’t recognize someone, you think there’s a flight risk. This man is the most famous person in the world,” his attorney said.
The DA intends to bring Trump, his co-defendants and the DA together.
