A spinoff from Outlander For a while, it has been eagerly awaited. Gabaldon, speaking out in 2018 ahead of the fourth season, spoke about his interest in an Outlander spinoff. It seems that we are on the right track to get this series, even though nothing has happened in a while. We are hoping it is picked up.

It was revealed that Joey Phillips and Izzy Meikle Smalll were selected to play the roles of Dr. Denzell Hunter’s siblings Rachel Hunter and Denzell Hunter earlier this summer. While a premiere date has not been announced for the next season, Sam Heughan, the series lead, did confirm that Season 7 will begin shortly after the season finale. As of right now Outlander Blood of My Blood is only in the development stage on Starz, meaning that it could be a while until we find out whether or not we’ll actually get the love story of Jamie’s parents on our TVs.
