Netflix has released the final season of its series. Dead to MeNov. 17, revealing the bittersweet ending for best friends Judy (Linda CardelliniJen (Christina Applegate). Although the duo were not able to murder Steve, they did not commit suicide.James Marsden), Judy’s criminal ex-fiancé, they didn’t necessarily get their happily ever after.
Why? It’s because Judy lost her stage four cervical carcinoma in the series finale.
Jen was extremely devastated. She wanted her BFF, Judy, to fight the disease until the end. Judy, however, had other plans and wanted to end the situation on her terms.
“I’ve had the best time with you,”Judy had said this to Jen just before she flew to Mexico alone. “You filled the hole in my heart.”
While this ending was teased for Judy ever since she received her diagnosis, a small part of us hoped that she’d beat this thing. If we weren’t already weeping, we will now. DefinitelyWeeping now.
