Talk to ten people about their fast food preferences, and you’ll get ten different answers. Everyone has their own system, from where to eat to what to order to how much customization to make. But, it turns out that not all systems work. There is a way to properly prepare fast food. Bert Kreischer, Van Wilder’s inspiration and hilarious stand-up comedian, has the perfect plan.
Bert Kreischer asked 800,000+ of his Twitter followers their opinions on Saturday night. preferred McDonald’s order was. He also mentioned his own Supersized Big Mac meal, which he said included four single cheeseburgers and a Diet Coke. Many of his fans were not impressed by the size of the order, even though Kreischer is known for being a master at eating. They began to ask him further questions. SECRET TIME – I cut off the bottom bun (Useless: All the ketchup and pickles are up top). Then, I taco them out. This will save calories for another bottomless Burger!!
Typically, I’m a big bun guy, and I’m not going to apologize for that. The bun is an essential component to a good cheeseburger, and I’m not here for anyone’s lettuce wrap suggestions. But even so, the bun has to be in proportion to the meat and other ingredients, and that has always been the problem with the smaller-sized McDonald’s burgers. The patty is just too small, in my opinion, to necessitate how much bun you’re given. It’s fine on the Quater Pounder and the Big Mac, but it’s too much for the regular cheeseburgers.
What if you only had one bun? That’s the perfect ratio of meat and ingredients to bun. It makes me want go out right away and grab a couple of these tasty concoctions. Kreishcer may have been doing it for years, laughing at us as we ate the bottom buns like rubes.
