It’s impossible to predict who may show up. Saturday Night Live. Sometimes the host takes it on their own, while other times they bring along some well-known friends to support them in a few sketches and increase the star power. Last night’s host Brendan Gleeson decided to take the latter approach and enlisted friend and fellow Irishman Colin Farrell to put in an appearance. The popular actor made a surprise entrance during Gleeson’s monologue and later appeared in another sketch to get his headshot taken.

The crowd was thrilled to see Colin Farrell walk on stage. He received a round of applause. But it wasn’t just him being there. It was really entertaining to see him interact with Brendan Gleeson. They have a great chemistry and it is evident in their looks. Also, Colin Farrell had a mustache when he first came out, and I can’t not comment on this absurdity Eat your heart out, Tom Selleck.

If you’re going to show up on Saturday Night LiveYou must have fun with it. The live show is always exciting Features a lot of costume changes, wigs and other props to change people’s appearances. You should take every opportunity to wear something outrageous if you can. Even if it’s just for twenty seconds or so like the above.

That wasn’t the only time Colin Farrell showed up though. A sketch comedy show about headshots was also presented by him. Brendan Gleeson, who played the grandfather of someone taking headshots, was one of the most bizarre sketches of night. Andrew Dismukes played the photographer and he was instantly captivated when he interrupted the session in order to drop off a fedora.

Gleeson quickly got the camera to capture Gleeson’s poses. Colin Farrell joined Gleeson and he began acting out his own poses. The two proceeded to take a bunch of pictures together, and it’s obvious how much fun they’re having just hanging out. Their chemistry was evident once more, and it was an absolute joy to watch. Saturday Night LiveTwo episodes are now into Season 48. The season began with Miles Teller last week. Megan Thee Stallion will host the next SNL episode on Saturday. She will perform double duty as a host and also do the musical performance. You can expect to see the new cast find their voice and continue to shine in the absence all of the cast members who have left.
